The title says it all really, which new gameor sequel are you looking forward to most in 2006?

At the moment it would have to be Metal Gear Solid 4, both because it looks awesome and means I'll have a PS3 under my TV. OK, it'll be full of 20 minute cut scenes and hours of CODEC waffle, but it will be cool.

Of course, that all depends on MGS4 making a release date this year! :p

Final Fantasy 12

It's been delayed and delayed, and this is the first year in five that I haven't had an FF game for Christmas.

Instead it comes out the week of my birthday :P

Next would be Guildwars: Factions, the expansion. The release date is around April, so that makes another spring game to take away all my time.

well, ive just read about the new Medal of Honor game and it looks pretty sweet.

the idea of bring a paratroopers role in the war to life seems awesome, especially how it looks so far

however im not sure on a 2006 release date (looks pretty completed though)

Okay, honestly, who isn't looking forward to Twilight Princes (http://www.game-addicts.com/20051103/preview-the-legend-of-zelda-twilight-princess.html)? I most certainly cannot wait for this addition on the Zelda series, but it keeps getting delayed and it is killing me! Argh, I just want to sit down and enjoy the next addition to the series ;-;.

I could so debate with you about Zelda.. Sure, usually it's about saving a town or a princess, but honestly, it's so completley different in almost every way.

Lets compare Majoro's Mask with OoT shall we? In majoro's Mask there wasn't even the slightest mention of the princess. And yet, you go through shape shifting and gambeling and racing and fighting and collecting and questing. But in OoT you go through trying to beat every temple/dungeon which is a complete puzzel and rather hard to do (especially in Master Quest which I have from purchasing Wind Waker) and then defeat Ganondwarf/Gandalf inorder to save the princess you actually sends you back in time again so you forget about the whole thing.

Oh, and then there's Wind Waker! Cell shaded.. based on the saving of your sister (who saddly does end up being the princess ><) wind/weather dependant.. And very beautiful music and fighting engine.

And then htere's going to be Twilight Princess, but you can read all about my argument there in the article linked above ;)

Everyone is talking about CS though, and I may being to play, when I have time. Latley I'm swamped with school work, work, and girlfriend -falls over dead-.

Until next time,
-Alex
