Shrek 2 and DDR it is I think, though I may live to regret that choice

Hey, you can't regret DDR! Although, as a 16/17 year old gamer, I would have chose something different other then Shrek, but the 8 year old will most likley enjoy it a lot.

As I said, DDR Extreme is probably your best bet, whether you pick 1 or 2, they will both make you happy, I'm sure

Sean's right...when you asked for a family game, the first thing I thought of was Shrek 2. Simple puzzles and DDR-ish finger-excersizes, and it's great because she can play by herself...and all you'd have to do to join in is pick up a controller and hit start. She wouldn't have to quit her game or anything, you just jump right on in.

Ali and i went games shopping today with Shrek 2 and DDR top of the shopping list. After countless shops we ended up getting hair ties, hair bands, Eyetoy 2 and Escape from Monkey Island for nthe PS2. No where we went to had DDR or Shrek 2 in stock so I'll report back if what we got was worth getting (nb the hair stuff was not for me )

Hey, one can always use a good hair tie!

Mr. Treepwood was quite entertaining, but not much of a 2 player game, if you ask me!

Here is a link for Escape from monkey island hints, secrets and walkthrough.

The GA Games Tracking service can help you out there ST! I saw Shrek 2 in Tesco Extra yesterday for (I believe) 13.84! Plus until Tuesday they have a further 20% off all games, DVDs and CDs, so that should make it about 11 quid. Bargain!

Note: GA games tracking service only available in the Newbury area.

Cheers Sean, is the Shrek 2 called just "Shrek 2" as I did see another one that was "Shrek 2 - Something else that I've forgot".
