Co-Op Games?

A couple of friends and me get together fairly often and do a mini LAN party, death match gets old after an hour or so. So we've been trying different types of Co-Op games and have yet to find one that we really seem to want to stick with.

So far we've tried:
BF2 (3 guys is boring, joining and on line server we get our heads shot off as soon as we spawn)
Serious Sam (should be named Silly Sam)

Swat 4 was the one that showed the most promise (funny thing was we couldn't figure out how to join a Co-Op game from a client PC).

Any suggestions?

Jim D.

I suggest you try America's Army.

Its an online game with stunning graphics!!! AND ITS FREE.

Its supported by the USA government. I can only say that this game is hard if you start. And allso only for REAL gamers. Understanding it takes a while. Most n00bs kill more teammates then enemies.

Well that's putting my NET connection to the test, a 925.3MB download , estimated time 2:26, shame the download caps at 100 KB/sec.

I just got a Gigbit router and cabling for my network in this house, my cable modem is now faster than a T-1. If that's not enough, the router has a 108mb wireless built in.

Funny you should mention dial up, I was at a client's house last night and she's still using AOL---dialing for an internet connection. Id forgotten just how bad it is, truly like watching paint dry.

I'm at the point that I rarely work on anything that's not Win XP or is worthy of upgrading to Win XP. If it's got FAT, it sure ain't Phat.
